One Donation Makes All The Difference.
The Atlanta Dream’s Annual Backpack Drive helps kids in need across metro Atlanta have a strong start to the upcoming school year. To set our Metro Atlanta students up for success, we will collect new backpacks at Gateway Center Arena during 3 home games this season as well as accepting online donations via a registry link until Monday, July 29th.
We will be collecting items through our donation link here: bit.ly/24back2school
And at our games on:
- June 23rd vs. NY Liberty
- July 2nd vs. Chicago Sky
- July 12th vs. Las Vegas Aces

Who are we doing this for? Metro Atlanta students in need at the Barack and Michelle Obama Academy (BAMO), and students at the Boyce Ansley School (BAS), in an effort to support the Atlanta Public Schools Community! Parents/Guardians of Metro Atlanta students Staff at BAMO and BAS Why backpacks and school supplies? Alleviating the stress of back to school financial obligations helps students and their guardians focus on learning and thriving in a school environment. And, it’s always exciting to witness these students enthusiasm as they eagerly select their backpack.
