Managing requests for Copilot Business in your organization

Approve or deny requests for Copilot access in your organization.

Who can use this feature?

Organization owners

Organizations with a subscription to GitHub Copilot Business and organizations owned by an enterprise with a subscription to GitHub Copilot Business

As an organization owner, you can manage requests for GitHub Copilot Business from your organization's settings. Additionally, GitHub sends you a weekly email with a summary of all pending requests.

If your organization is owned by an enterprise, before you can approve a request, you may need to request that the enterprise owners enable GitHub Copilot Business for your organization by going to https://github.com/settings/copilot and requesting access under "Get Copilot from an organization."

  1. In the upper-right corner of GitHub, select your profile photo, then click Your organizations.
  2. Under "Organizations", next to the name of your organization, click Settings.
  3. In the "Access" section of the sidebar, click Requests from members.
  4. To accept the request and grant the member access to GitHub Copilot Business, click Buy Copilot Business.

All requests for GitHub Copilot Business are grouped together under "Copilot Business."
