Three-weight division champion Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) defends his WBC lightweight belt against Artem Harutyunyan (12-1, 7 KOs) on Saturday, July 6. The 12-round title fight will take place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Stevenson vs. Harutyunyan will stream on ESPN & ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET, with main event ringwalks projected for 11:15 p.m. ET.
All eyes will be on Stevenson, as he looks to bounce back after an underwhelming effort against Edwin De Los Santos last November. Despite winning by decision, Stevenson faced backlash for running most of the fight and generating little to no offense. A hometown crowd should motivate the former Olympic silver medalist.
Harutyunyan returns to the ring after suffering his first professional loss opposite Frank Martin last July. The 33-year-old has competed mostly in Germany, where he secured a number of International belts across two weight classes.
