The Role

As the Brand Director, you will lead one of the largest skincare groupings in the Nordic Affiliate, defining, driving, and executing innovative brand strategies. Collaborating closely with the Nordic General Manager and EMEA Brand VPs, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our esteemed brands. This role places you on the Nordic Executive Leadership team, reporting directly to the Nordic General Manager, where you will influence the overall direction of the Nordic organization and business.

Your Key Responsibilities

More Specifically, You Will

  • Collaborate with EMEA Brand VP and affiliate GM to set and achieve ambitious brand sales and profit goals, managing all aspects of the brand P&L.
  • Drive the brand's market positioning and ensure top rankings and market share growth.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge marketing and sales strategies to maximize sell-through based on market demand.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive Brand Go-to-Market strategy, encompassing commercial plans, sales targets, and KPI monitoring.
  • Innovate virtual selling strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the omnichannel experiences.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to identify and seize growth opportunities.
  • Lead the brand's demand planning process, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and alignment with market needs.
  • Ensure the brand's identity is consistently represented across all channels, including merchandising, media positioning, and product assortment.
  • Oversee Product, Consumer, and Trade Marketing activities, providing strategic guidance.
  • Foster operational excellence and strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing teams, ensuring robust talent pipelines and exemplary coaching.
  • Contribute to the Nordic Executive Leadership Team, driving enterprise-wide projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing and sales experience, preferably in FMCGs and the luxury goods industry.
  • Proven experience in P&L management.
  • Great experience with retail development.
  • Extensive experience of the consumer journey both online and Offline
  • Basic understanding of the country’s economic, political, social, cultural, and business landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on operational approach.
  • International mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a high matrix structure.
  • Affinity with fashion, trends, and artist communities.
  • Proficiency in English and preferably one Scandinavian language.
