Since announcing Gefion – Denmark’s new AI supercomputer – we’ve been working hard together with the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark and NVIDIA to prepare for its arrival later this year. We recently had the pleasure of sharing more about the exciting possibilities with His Majesty the King, Minister of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bødskov, Minister for Higher Education and Science Christina Egelund, Minster for Digitalisation and Gender Equality Marie Bjerre, and stakeholders from academia and the public and private sectors in Denmark.   At the event, we also heard from NVIDIA Vice President Kimberly Powell on how generative #AI is accelerating the digitization of healthcare and life sciences, and were inspired by demonstrations of some of NVIDIA’s state-of-the-art AI development tools, which will soon be available to Danish researchers and innovators via the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI).   Keep up to date with the latest news about Gefion here: https://lnkd.in/der7dQgZ

I forlængelse af den grønne trepartsaftale har Novo Nordisk Fonden netop indgået en aftale med den danske regering om at afsætte 10 mia. kr. over en tiårig periode til genopretning af den danske natur. Midlerne skal bruges til at skabe store sammenhængende naturarealer til gavn for miljøet og danskerne. Regeringen og Novo Nordisk Fonden har indgået en principaftale, som vil levere et markant bidrag til at gøre visionerne i den grønne trepartsaftale til virkelighed. Over de næste 10 år vil fonden prioritere 10 mia. kroner til omlægning af danske arealer, så der bliver plads til mere natur og biodiversitet samt landbrugsproduktion baseret på moderne teknologier.
