Fastigheterna Vallentuna Rickeby 1:487 och 1:488 byggs för närvarande i den framväxande stadsdelen Kristineberg i Vallentuna 🏡🌿 Med en hög hållbarhetsprofil och certifiering enligt Miljöbyggnad Silver, kommer dessa bostäder att erbjuda ett hållbart och resurseffektivt boende i harmoni med naturen. Bostäderna är bland annat utrustade med solceller, elbilsladdare, elcykel- och elbilspooler samt gemensamma odlingslådor på innergårdarna som främjar gemenskap likväl som biologisk mångfald. 🚴♂️☀️🔌🐝 – Av samtliga byggaktörer är NRE en av de som har haft högst hållbarhetsambitioner och på flest punkter överträffar miljöprogrammets lägstanivå. We are delighted to add further scale to our Swedish housing portfolio, with the acquisition of two residential assets from Magnolia Bostad AB 🏘 Collectively, the two sites provide 524 homes for rent and are located in the Ångloket neighbourhood in Knivsta and the Brogårdsstaden district in Upplands-Bro, Stockholm. The assets are both sustainable and affordable, making them an ideal fit with the characteristics of our wider residential portfolio. Carl-Adam von Schéele, Head of Sweden at Nrep, said: "With this acquisition, we are expanding our residential portfolio by 524 rental apartments, which according to plan, strengthens our presence in the Stockholm region. The transaction has a good volume and it is gratifying to be able to offer quality housing in good locations with attractive rent levels, enabling more people to have their own home. The properties have a high sustainability performance that meets our requirements and we look forward to managing them in a successful and long-term way." The acquisition was made through the Nrep Income+ fund, which completed a third closing last year at approximately €1.85 billion in committed capital. How are DTU students tackling the challenges of climate change? 🔍 Today, our talented colleague, Sustainability Manager Christian Mølholm, is serving as a judge at this year's Green Challenge at DTU - Technical University of Denmark 🎓✨ The Green Challenge is an annual event where students from DTU present innovative and sustainable solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time. This is a true celebration of sustainability and an incredible event for bright minds to showcase their creativity and technical skills! Christian Mølholm brings his extensive experience and passion for sustainability to the judging panel, and we are sure that his insights will be invaluable in evaluating the many exciting projects. As Christian says: "I am incredibly inspired by the students, who represent the future with their innovative ideas and commitment to sustainability. It has been an inspiring day filled with solutions that can make a real difference for our planet.” 💚

Thrilled to share the news that Nrep is selling an urban logistics portfolio portfolio to funds managed by Blackstone. The portfolio, shaped in partnership with Aktiivitilat, includes 22 properties strategically located in excellent urban locations mainly in Helsinki region. Since 2019, our joint venture with Aktiivitilat has driven the value of the portfolio through sustainability improvements and tenant-centric strategies. This new transaction is one of the largest that Nrep has made in Finland, showcasing yet again our successful investment strategy. In the words of the Head of Nrep Finland Joonas Lemström, “It is a pleasure to see how our strategy based on the joint venture is bearing fruit”. Nrep will continue to seek new partnership models, that focus on promoting sustainable solutions and a customer centric approach in real estate. 🙌 Few things excite us as much as when our talent keeps growing with us. After having had impact through various roles over 6 years in Nrep, we're delighted that Elisa Tuomi is stepping into the key position as Nrep's Head of Living. In her new role, Tuomi will spearhead our strategic initiatives in the living sector and oversee our €8 billion residential portfolio across six markets, and act as member of Nrep's extended management group.   Elisa steps into this role with a wealth of experience in the real estate private equity sector, having successfully executed numerous transactions in the Nordics, and in addition, having lead our residential entry and growth into Poland.    We are thrilled to see talented colleagues develop with us - from more junior positions, into key leadership roles. We have acquired Comfort Hotel® Karl Johan, a 260-room hotel in the heart of Oslo, from CBRE Investment Management 🏨   "The acquisition is in line with our intention to identify attractive risk adjusted return investment opportunities as well as it is meeting our sustainability aspirations. It is an attractive and central property with good prospects for improving energy efficiency through our customer-oriented management”, said Jens Petter Hagen, Head of Nrep in Norway and Fund Manager for NSF V.   Nrep already owns another Norwegian hotel asset, the Quality Hotel River Station, in Drammen, as well as central hotels in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki. This will be the fifth hotel in the portfolio. All hotels are operated by the Strawberry Hotels group, a company with a strong focus on sustainability, with locations across the Nordics.   "Common to all of Nrep's hotel investments is the structural tailwind of a growing interest in the Nordic countries as tourist destinations. The central locations of the assets are attractive to both national and international visitors, including business travellers. Looking back at the past year, what has inspired our CEO the most for the year ahead? In Rune Kock’s CEO interview with Real Asset Media, he points to a stronger commercial focus on reducing emissions, which reflects a genuine accountability taken by businesses in the sector and recognition of the importance of #decarbonization. “Last year, investors wanted clear sustainability leadership as they took increasing note of the supply and demand issues for well-constructed buildings with strong green credentials.” He exemplifies by the significant increase in businesses committing to formalized sustainability metrics, and the focus on transforming existing portfolios with a #browntogreen approach.
