The Fritz Hansen Showroom in Munich invited a selected group of interior designers to a textile and illustration workshop. Together with Steffi Bauer we spent a creative afternoon and learned more about textiles, colors and drawing methods. A warm thank you to everyone who attended this fun and educational event and a special thank you to artist Steffi for sharing her knowledge with us. As always, keep an eye out for upcoming events and happenings at the Munich showroom in the near future. Photography by Nikolas Tusl

The revitalised canteen at Topsoe’s headquarters is where heritage intertwines with sustainability through Fritz Hansen’s Refurbish programme. The company wanted to develop the canteen “in a way that people would use it more often” while still maintaining a sustainability perspective. Their solution came when they discovered 100 Series 7™ chairs – some dating back to 1983 – and spoke with Fritz Hansen about the Refurbish programme. BORNYON RESTAURANT, SEOUL Bornyon explores the transformative power of space, food and community in an experience steeped in authenticity and comfort. “The crucial element in this space is time. The feeling of time passing, the sensation of time standing still, the ambience of sunset and, occasionally, an environment where the background fades away, allowing focus on cuisine and conversation.” - Geonyoung Kang, architect and CEO at A-D-O Design Architecture Office Discover the full story here: https://lnkd.in/df-BVCuS

Inside Væksthuset's curved glass walls, thousands of visitors stepped inside to experience Fritz Hansen's Welcoming Hospitality exhibitions. The Arne Jacobsen café welcomed everyone to enjoy coffee and snacks in popping-blue versions of his iconic Grand Prix™, Ant™ and Series 7™ chairs. And for those who looked carefully, an Egg™ chair could be seen peeping through the tropical canopy. In a dedicated area, the spotlight was on the masterpieces by Poul Kjærholm – a collection that included an exclusive preview of his highly anticipated PK23™ lounge chair. We were very proud to have Cecilie Manz present to introduce the world premiere of her Monolit™ chair – a wonderfully inviting, sculptural piece made in two different heights perfect for dining and lounging. Speaking to Dezeen magazine about the versatility of design, Manz says: "I don't believe in trying to squeeze too many functionalities into one piece, but if it's a good piece of furniture, then you should be able to use it in different ways," – Cecilie Manz, Dezeen
