Downtown Detroit has experienced an incredible influx of restaurants, bars, and cafes over the past decade. The scene has gone from the expected coneys, boring chains, and tired fine dining establishments to creative tasting menus, elegant cocktail bars, and creative little nooks where one can grab a treat on the run.

Regardless of how one feels about the changes, for better or worse, the fact remains that if you’re visiting the city for the first time, travel to the Motor City often for business, or are just a suburb away from the action, there have never been so many eating and drinking places to choose from in the 21st century.
