‘The Mick,’ “The Dump”

Do not sleep on The Mick. Fox’s twisted take on a primo TGIF-esque setup (unprepared adult is unexpectedly saddled with raising three kids) has excelled in its second season, pushing its outrageous brand of mania and occasional body horror humor to the limit. The most recent episode, bluntly titled “The Dump,” is a sterling example of this rotten show’s aggressive style. When a random kid stows away on a bus returning from a field trip to a dumb, Mickey (Kaitlin Olson) and Alba (Carla Jimenez) get caught up in an accidental kidnapping farce that is laugh-out-loud ridiculous.
