Is ‘The Bachelorette’ Star Kaitlyn Bristowe Hosting ‘The Golden Bachelorette’? Here’s What We Know

It looks like this Bachelorette will be coming back to the franchise.

The Golden Bachelorette is set to premiere this coming Fall with Joan Vassos at the helm, but rumors are swirling about who will be joining her at that first rose ceremony.

Bachelor Nation fans are beginning to believe that Kaitlyn Bristowe may replace Jesse Palmer as the host of The Golden Bachelorette. It has not yet been announced whether Palmer is the set host for the new ABC spinoff, but he has taken over most hosting duties in the franchise since replacing Chris Harrison in 2021.

The rumors began when Bristowe shared an interesting post on social media, hinting at a huge new opportunity coming her way.

“Remember when I asked you guys to put it out into the universe that I’d get the thing I auditioned for? I got it. Thank you,” she wrote in the caption of a slideshow she recently shared on Instagram. The slideshow notably included pictures of her posing with Dancing With the Stars pro Sasha Farber and host Julianne Hough, prompting fans to believe she may be returning to the ABC series after winning in 2020.

But Bristowe denied that was the case. After a fan speculated that she was returning to DWTS as “either a judge or a pro,” Bristowe replied, “Haha I wish!!!! But no.” She also denied in another comment that she would be hosting, writing, “Nooo they have the dream team hosting!!”

So, what else could it be? Well, The Golden Bachelorette, of course!

Bristowe was recently spotted on set of The Golden Bachelorette with Vassos, wearing the same red dress she’s wearing in the photos she shared on social media.

Despite the rumors, Bristowe’s role in The Golden Bachelorette remains unclear. Decider has reached out to ABC for more information.

Bristowe became a fan-favorite after she competed in Chris Soules’ Bachelor season before later scoring her own season of The Bachelorette. Though she didn’t find her happily ever after with finalist Shawn Booth, Bristowe later returned to co-host The Bachelorette Season 17 with Tayshia Adams.

Last fall, she also appeared in the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor when she and Palmer helped Gerry Turner judge the Golden Bachelor Talent Showcase to decide who will get a solo date.

For now, all we know for sure is that Vassos, a 60-year-old school administrator from Rockland, Maryland, will finally get another shot at love after she self-eliminated during Turner’s season.

A premiere date for The Golden Bachelorette has not been announced yet, but ABC confirmed the new series will air Wednesday evenings at 8/7c, ahead of Abbott Elementary.
