Jenna Bush Hager Offers To Help Take Hoda Kotb’s Bra Off On ‘Today’: “Free Your Boobs, Hoda!”

Today With Hoda & Jenna‘s fourth of July broadcast came to a halt when Jenna Bush Hager encouraged Hoda Kotb to take her bra off after suffering a wardrobe malfunction on the air.

The Today co-hosts were discussing marriage when Kotb’s white bra began peeking over the neckline of her red dress. After she hilariously pointed out that Bush Hager’s stomach was loudly grumbling during their discussion, she struggled to adjust her dress.

“I can’t. The bra’s not working, The outfit doesn’t work,” Kotb ranted on the show, while Bush Hager was distracted with whether the Today crew could actually her stomach growl. “The bra’s too big, the straps are too small. It doesn’t work! I can’t do anything.”

After going back and forth with the stage crew, Bush Hager then asked her co-host, “But why did my stomach make your dress fall off?”

Kotb replied, “Because [executive producer Talia Parkinson-Jones] said fix it… Have you ever gone to a party and gone, ‘It’s fine,’ and then you spend the whole party pulling, and shoving, and stuffing? It’s not fine.”

Kotb then mentioned that she still planned to wear that red dress again one day, but instead with a jacket over it. But Bush Hager had some serious advice for Kotb: Next time, ditch the bra.

“You know what you do, next time you just take your bra off! Will you ever just free your boobs? Free your boobs, Hoda! It’s time,” she said as she raised her voice.

As Kotb laughed and admitted she felt like she was “falling apart” on air, Bush Hager continued, “At this point in your life, when you’re turning almost 60, free your boobs! Let’s free them! ‘Cause if you took your bra off you wouldn’t have a problem.”

Kotb’s dress continued to slip during Bush Hager’s impassioned lecture. “I can’t! I can’t!” she responded.

Bush Hager then attempted to move on to the next segment until she noticed Kotb was, once again, trying to adjust her dress.

“You look good! You want me to take your bra off real quick?” she offered as she reached towards Kotb’s back. “I can do it real quick, I can slide it through.”

Kotb, through her laughter, replied, “No, and no, the answer’s no.”

This hilarious advice comes as no surprise, as Bush Hager has been outed for ditching her underwear while on the show.

During an episode in 2022, Bush Hager’s daughter, who was nine at the time, told viewers that her mom “never wears underwear.”

“She’s not wearing it right now! I saw her change,” she announced, before Bush Hager covered her face and rushed her off the set.
