Since Season 1, The Bear has been one of TV’s most shoppable shows. It all started with a simple (but incredibly flattering) white T-shirt, and since then, we’ve been spotting all kinds of things that make us want to shop the show.
There’s that classic Original Beef t-shirt and the misspelled Original Berf version, the Hedley & Bennett aprons we see Carmy and Syd wearing when they cook, Coach K’s book that became Sydney’s inspiration in Season 2, Carmy’s go-to olive oil, and some delicious food straight from Chicago, just to name a few.
So, of course, it stands to reason that as Season 3 rolled around on Hulu, some things would catch our eye — and it didn’t take long.
In Season 3, Episode 2, Gary “Sweeps” Woods (Corey Hendrix), who has appeared in both seasons of The Bear as a runner at the restaurant, mentions he’s going to “somm class” — sommelier classes to learn more about wine (considering The Bear is a much finer establishment than The Beef) — and for inspiration, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) gifts him a book.
“Wait a minute, is this a scratch-and-sniff book, bro?” Sweeps asks when Richie hands him the book. To which Richie responds, “Bite your tongue. Betts is a fucking G.”

The children’s-style board book is, in fact, a scratch-and-sniff take on the fundamentals of wine, helping newbies “discover the difference between a Syrah and a Sangiovese.”
By the end of the season, we even see the Fak boys reading the book as it’s meant to be read (scratching and sniffing, of course).
