Prince William danced like no one was watching at Taylor Swift‘s recent concert in London.

The Prince of Wales brought his two children along for the event — but it’s debatable which of the royals is the biggest Swiftie.

William, who was spent his birthday at the event, went viral on social media for his groovy moves. And of course, The View couldn’t resist weighing in.

“Now, some fans were roasting his moves, but my goodness, it’s the guy’s birthday!,” Whoopi Goldberg exclaimed. “Lighten up, let him do what he does!”

Sunny Hostin added, “I was wondering why they were roasting his moves because he was movin,'” as she grooved to an interpretive rendition of the prince’s dance moves.

The love for William’s moves was unwavering around the table.

“I loved it because he took his two children,” Ana Navarro said. “His kids have gone through so much, their mother is dealing with cancer, their grandfather is dealing with cancer, I loved it.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin offered, “I think, ‘Go off, future king.’ I loved it. I wasn’t expecting big moves out of William, so I liked that he gave them.”

The hosts admired the prince for his confidence in letting loose, despite many eyes being on him.

“One, I just love all thats going on there, but I’m also a big believer in dance like no one’s watching,” Sara Haines said. “And everyone’s watching him, he’s a royal.”

Meanwhile, Hostin exclaimed, “Look how much fun he’s having!” as Griffin noted, “He never gets to let loose.”

Navarro seemed to imply that the prince got his fun-loving attitude from his beloved mother, who used to take him and his brother Prince Harry to concerts when they were boys.

“Do you remember, Princess Diana used to take William and Harry to concerts, and they were all dancing, that was nice,” Navarro remembered.

In the face of Princess Kate‘s cancer diagnosis, The View, along with many on social media, were happy to see that the family had a joyful, stress free evening out.

“That was pure, unadulterated joy, for a man whose wife is suffering from cancer,” Hostin said. “Can’t we enjoy that for him? Come on.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
