Will Ferrell Dressed Up As a Medieval Lord to Embarrass His Son and The Internet Loves It

Will Ferrell has once again made it clear that he’s the king (or…jester?) of embarrassing his children at the most inopportune times.

A TikTok recently shared by Will’s oldest son Magnus included a throwback photo showing the Emmy-award winning actor dressed head-to-toe in medieval wear, standing next to his unamused son, dressed in a suit, ready for prom.

“Rating things my dad has done,” the first slide in the TikTok read.

“Dressed as a medieval lord to embarrass me at prom. 10000/10,” said the text on the second slide, over the photo itself.

To caption the video, Magnus simply put, “true story.”

Magnus’ video is just one in the popular TikTok trend of rating embarrassing things users’ family members have done. Multiple videos in the trend — including Magnus’ own post — have garnered millions of likes and views on the platform.

Unsurprisingly, fans of both Will’s and the trend flooded the comment section under the post.

“I would personally be okay with that bc he’s Will Ferrell,” one user wrote, which Magnus liked and replied to.

Others had no idea that the actor and comedian even had kids.

“This is how I find out Will Ferrell has a son…,” another user posted.

While Magnus may have looked unamused in the photo, he used the comment section to clear up his emotions on the situation.

“Will Ferrell at your prom is awesome, if anything the fit makes it better,” one user commented.

To this, Magnus responded, “NO I meant like I loved it!”

This is not the first time Will has gone viral on social media in recent years for embarrassing his children. Back in October, another video went viral showing the Step Brothers star DJ-ing at Magnus’ fraternity tailgate party. In an appearance on the Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis back in October, Magnus made it clear that the appearance was something he asked his father to do and was not a choice Will made of his own accord.

“Social anxiety is afraid of him,” Magnus said in the podcast.

As for Will’s younger sons, Matthias and Axel, it seems that it’s not a matter of if they’ll face their dad’s shenanigans, but a question of when.
