Ryan Seacrest is ushering in a new era of Wheel of Fortune, but he couldn’t do so without a proper handoff from Pat Sajak himself.

On Thursday (June 13), the game show shared a new promotional video in which Sajak and White show Seacrest his soon-to-be stomping grounds: the show’s legendary soundstage.

“Well this is it, Ryan. What do you think?” Sajak asks, to which Seacrest replies, “Impressive, Pat,” per Entertainment Tonight.

Co-host Vanna White assures Seacrest that “the contestants are going to love” him, while Sajak tells him, “I think what you’re going to enjoy most is meeting the players and getting to know the audience at home.”

As Seacrest has similarly iterated before, he highlights that the show is “such a part of people’s lives.”

Sajak then takes a moment to acknowledge the show’s devoted fan base.

“People love this show. They come up to us every day and thank us for a half hour where they can watch with the whole family,” he says.

While the American Idol host insists that the two “make it look so easy,” Sajak passes along some praise for his esteemed role and co-host.

“You’re never going to find a better job, and you’re never going to find a better co-host,” he notes, which White thanks him for.

Sajak bid farewell to Wheel with an emotional speech during his final episode as host, which aired last Friday (June 7). While he spoke of the “incredible privilege” to be invited into millions of homes every night over his tenure, he also praised his “professional other half,” White, whom he said “is as sweet and unassuming as she seems.”

“We’ve seen a lot of changes in each other’s lives over the years but we’ve always been there for each other,” he shared. “I want to thank her for her lovely goodbye on yesterday’s show and while I’ll very much miss working with her, I take solace in the fact that we live about five miles apart so we’ll see plenty of each other.”

For those interested in taking a spin at Wheel of Fortune, the show also provided the link for prospective contestants to apply in the YouTube video’s description.
