With Nina Ali out of The Real Housewives of Dubai, newbie Taleen Marie is getting ready for her close-up. In an exclusive clip from the Season 2 premiere (check it out above), returning Housewife Caroline Brooks introduces viewers to her longtime friend.

Right off the bat, Marie makes herself relatable. Not only does she opt for the “caffeine route” over the “healthy route,” but she also seems to know how to have a good time.

“Taleen is one of my closest girlfriends in Dubai. I’ve known her for almost a decade. We are crazy. But the best form of crazy,” Brooks says as videos of their wine-fueled antics play on the screen.

In her first-ever confessional, Marie explains that she and her husband Raffi Khanoyan moved from Los Angeles to Dubai almost 10 years ago, which is when she met Brooks.

“After living in LA for about nine years, moving to Dubai was rough because all I knew was my husband. I didn’t have any friends here. I didn’t have any family here,” she says. “Nine years ago, there were a lot less Americans in Dubai and Caroline, she was the first friend that I met. I just saw an American flag on her face. I was like, ‘Hallelujah!'”

According to Marie, Brooks is as loyal as loyal can get.

“You call her at 2 in the morning and you’re, like, shit-faced on the side of the road and you need a ride home, Caroline’s the one that you will call and she will pick up,” she says. “She might talk to you for two hours on the phone but maybe you need that in that moment.”

However, it’s no secret that their friendship will hit some bumps in the road in Season 2. As BravoTV previously teased, Marie’s loyalty to Brooks gets called into question when she forms a surprising friendship with Caroline Stanbury.
