Thrilling new documentary The Blue Angels landed in IMAX theaters last week, as a patriotic prelude to the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. However, the doc’s tenure on IMAX screens is swiftly coming to an end. Today, Wednesday, May 22 is the last day you can catch the awe-inspiring film on the supersized screen. Tomorrow, The Blue Angels makes its move to Prime Video.

So should you make a hasty appointment to see the film in IMAX tonight or wait to watch it on Prime Video?

“Look, I think when it comes to this business, there’s no one way to see a movie,” The Blue Angels producer and Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell told Decider during a recent chat over Zoom. “I do think that the theatrical experience of this film is absolutely jaw-dropping and extraordinary.”

“The way we’ve captured all this stuff in IMAX format…it is a ride. So I obviously always prefer people to experience the ride, you know? Especially when you have a limited time for them to experience it.”

It seems Glen Powell definitely hopes you’ll make it to the IMAX theater. In fact, he hopes you pull double duty in the cinema and at home. “Watching it on Prime Video, I mean, you will get the same sort of thrill and I hope audiences catch it on both.”

So how can you watch The Blue Angels? Here’s everything you need to know to experience the new film…
