Is ‘IF’ Streaming On Netflix Or HBO Max?

Directed, written and produced by John Krasinski, IF is the latest live-action/animation comedy to hit theaters. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch the new flick!

When a young girl named Bea (Cailey Fleming) and her neighbor Cal (Ryan Reynolds) gain the magical ability to see imaginary friends (otherwise known as IFs), they embark on an adventure to reconnect the IFs with their respective kids.

The movie also features voiceovers from Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the late Louis Gossett Jr. and Krasinski’s old The Office co-star Steve Carell

So, where can you watch IF? Will it be on Netflix? What about Max?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

WHERE TO WATCH IF:

UPDATE 6/21/24: IF became available to rent or buy on digital platforms beginning Tuesday, June 18.

As of now, the only way to watch IF is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, May 17. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Paramount+. Read on for more information.

WHEN WILL IF BE ON STREAMING? WILL IF BE ON PARAMOUNT+?

Yes, IF will be on Paramount+ since it’s being distributed by Paramount Pictures. While a release date for the film has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on another movie that was recently distributed by the studio.

Bob Marley: One Love was released in theaters on Feb. 14 before coming to Paramount+ on April 12 — about two months after its initial release. If IF follows the same pattern, it should be available to stream on the platform by late July 2024.
