Kim Kardashian Savagely Booed As She Takes The Stage To Roast Tom Brady

Kim Kardashian wasn’t exactly welcomed with open arms when she took the stage for Sunday night’s (May 5) Roast of Tom Brady. The reality star was incessantly booed by the audience as she attempted to deliver an insult-ridden champagne toast to the ex-NFL player.

Kevin Hart introduced Kardashian as the next roaster for the live Netflix event. But when she reached the podium, the audience appeared to turn on her.

“I know a lot of people make fun of your height…” she said to Hart while boos filled the room. Kardashian did a double-take as she told crowd, “Alright, alright, alright.”

Even Hart jumped in to calm down the disapproving audience. “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” he said.

When the room died down, Kardashian was able to forge on with her bit — which was actually pretty funny.

“I’m really here tonight for Tom. I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might,” she said, before poking fun at her leaked sex tape with Ray J. “Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not — I’d just release a tape.”

Kardashian continued, “I do know it would never work out. An ex-athlete, high cheekbones, silky hair … you remind me too much of my stepdad now.”

She then compared Brady’s transition from the NFL to retirement to that of Caitlyn Jenner‘s.

“She’s one of the best athletes in the world, who proved you could do anything in this next chapter in your life,” she said. “You can become a commentator, a far-right Republican or even a strong, confident woman.”

Kardashian even made fun of her family’s ties to the late OJ Simpson, who hired her father to act as his defense attorney for his 1995 murder trial.

“Honestly, it’s hard for me to watch people roast you. But I think enough of my family members have helped defend former football players,” she quipped. “So I’m just here tonight to support you and celebrate you. Retirement isn’t easy. It can be a lot like a bad breakup. So I’ll give you the same advice I give all of my exes: good luck knowing the best is behind you.”

Brady wasn’t the only one who was roasted that evening. In fact, he got to take a jab at Kardashian when he was at the microphone.

“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight — not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad,” he joked, referring to her controversial ex-husband Kanye West.
