Though Easter may not be known for having the wide array of holiday movies and TV episodes that Christmas has to offer, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any at all. In addition to the good food, crafts and egg hunts, spread the festivities to the big screen and hop onto Disney+ for some Easter entertainment. 

These movies and episodes offer something for the whole family, whether it be an Ice Age egg hunt or a hilarious episode of The Simpsons. And even if you don’t celebrate Easter, we’ve got some non-Easter classics on this list too that still feature some iconic bunny rabbits like Roger Rabbit. 

If you’re looking to to amp up your Easter festivities and maybe even relax a bit after your egg hunt, check out this egg-celent list of Easter-themed entertainment to add to your festivities. We also know the holidays can be busy, so we wanted to avoid you getting stuck down the rabbit-hole of searching and sifting through movies. Who said holiday themed movies and episodes are only for Christmas anyways? Obviously not us!

  1. Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade (2016)

    Ever wondered how the world’s first egg hunt went down? Well it involved a prehistoric bird named Ethel (Taraji P. Henson) who decided to trust her sloth-friend, Sid (John Leguizamo), with keeping her egg safe. Other feathered friends decide to trust Sid with their eggs too, and the hunt itself doesn’t unfold until pirate bunny Squint (Seth Green) seeks revenge on Sid and his friends by hiding all the eggs.   1. Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)

    If you aren’t feeling particularly festive this weekend but still want something fun to watch, this juicy mystery offers an entertaining storyline and witty rabbit without the Easter eggs and holiday themes. This classic follows a burnt out private investigator, Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), who gets enlisted by a cartoon producer R.K. Maroon (Alan Tilvern), to explore an adultery case involving Jessica Rabbit (Kathleen Turner) and her husband, Roger Rabbit (Charles Fleischer). Known for its innovative special effects and humor, this classic is sure to entertain.

  1. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (1927)

    Take it back to 1927 with this animated short. Created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks for Universal Pictures, Oswald the rabbit is featured in several shorts on Disney+ that are perfect for those of you looking for something to watch that isn’t particularly Easter themed. It also offers a great look into the evolution of animated cartoons.

  1. The Wonderful Spring of Mickey Mouse (2022)

    Stay on theme with the Disney cartoons with this Mickey Mouse flick. This is the second seasonal installment of The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse and offers a bright and endearing story that is sure to get you in the mood for Spring and Easter.

  1. Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo (2004)

    Eager to celebrate Easter, Pooh, Tigger, Roo, Piglet and Eeyore head over to Rabbit’s house only to find out Rabbit has different plans: spring cleaning.
