When you’re called up to be a guest on The Price Is Right, anything can happen due to the excitement, and that includes peeing your pants.

According to former producer Mike Richards, the popular game show has a protocol in place for if and when a contestant wets themselves.

“When I got there, they had a system in place in case someone peed their pants,” recalled Richards to PEOPLE. “I never saw it happen, but there were curtains and a blow dryer and [a] pair of sweats just in case, since we’d have to get on with the show.”

Richards worked on the show as it changed hosts from Bob Barker to Drew Carey. He left the show at the end of the 2018-19 season.

While the protocol may give you a chuckle, it’s certainly better to be safe than sorry given that accidents can happen during a taping of the show. Just last July, for example, an overexcited man named Henry dislocated his shoulder after celebrating a Bonkers victory a bit too hard.

Carey addressed Henry’s injury later in the episode. “Let me explain what happened,” said the host to the audience. “Henry was celebrating and goin’ ‘woo!’ and he dislocated his shoulder.”

The contestant’s wife, Alice, was then brought down to replace him to spin the wheel. She spun a 95, which sent Henry to the Showcase Showdown where he ended up winning a trip to Hawaii.

Other injuries have occurred on the show over the years, including Carey himself getting injured on his very first episode in 2007 after his arm got caught in a rotating device. He was explaining how to play the “Grocery Game” when the accident occurred.

Also in 2014, a woman named Judy fell and sprained her ankle while she was attempting to spin the wheel.
