Fans are going to get a closer look into actor William Shatner‘s life and career in the new documentary You Can Call Me Bill, which is coming to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch it!
Directed by Alexandre O. Philippe, You Can Call Me Bill does a deep-dive into the Star Trek star’s lifelong contributions to the entertainment industry. Interestingly enough, the documentary was fully financed by over 1,200 fans, who raised $750,000 in just four days, per IndieWire.
In fact, Deadline reports that Legion M’s “Fan-First-Financing” allows donors of at least $100 to own a financial stake in the film and any profits it generates.
