Georgia State Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was not happy with how her home state was portrayed in the recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The Republican politician ranted against the Larry David sitcom on X, writing that the recent episode “painted GA conservatives and Trump supporters as racists and red necks and made fun of our good new law that stops the Stacey Abrams vote pandering machine and prevents voter fraud.”

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 kicked off earlier this month with an episode that showed David getting arrested for accidentally violating Georgia’s Election Integrity Act, in a nod to Seinfeld‘s series finale. The law prohibits distributing food or drink to voters outside of election sites, which means David’s so-called “cordial” act of handing a voter a bottle of water was actually illegal.

The latest episode included cameos of celebrities voicing their support for the cantankerous comedian, including Abrams, who played herself in the show.

“Larry David is about action, not words,” she says in the episode. “He saw an injustice and he did what he could to right it.”

Greene, who we must confess strikes us as an unlikely Curb fan, said the episode was a “glaring reminder” of why “most Georgian’s resent Republicans in our state for inviting the nasty commies from California, the Hollywood elites, into our state by dishing out Hollywood tax credits,” referring to the growing film industry in Atlanta.

After she accused state leaders of “slowly handing GA over to the Democrats,” her tirade turned to slamming electric vehicle company Rivian for setting roots in Georgia. She concluded her rant with a couple of more points against electric vehicles, maintaining, “It’s madness and the agenda of the left!”

Trolls flooded the replies of Greene’s tweets, where one wrote, “She doesn’t address the point that it’s hilarious you can be arrested for passing out water to people waiting in line.”

Another replied,”So you want to crater the GA economy because of a comedy,” while one more commented, “As a native georgian, I thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 episodes of curb this season. I was in tears after some scenes. These episodes were 100% accurate.”

No word yet from David himself.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is currently airing its final season. New episodes air Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
