Lala Kent has offered her hot take on Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz‘s “funky dynamic.”

On Tuesday night’s (Jan. 30) episode of Watch What Happens Live — which followed the highly anticipated Season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules — Kent joined Michael Rapaport and host Andy Cohen in the Bravo Clubhouse, where they participated in a number of Pump Rules-related polls.

When one of the polls asked whether Maloney and Schwartz would ever be friends again, Kent said, “They have a really funky dynamic and I’m here for it. She, like, emotionally abuses him [and] he loves it. It works!”

Cohen then called their unique relationship “fascinating,” while more than 60% of fans agreed that there is room for the ex-lovers to reconcile.

Maloney and Schwartz’s tumultuous relationship has been heavily documented on Vanderpump Rules since the show first aired in 2013. Despite Schwartz’s cheating and their frequent arguing, the two officially tied the knot in 2016.

But six years later, in 2022, the couple legally filed for divorce.

“To be completely honest, at this point, Katie has actually left,” Schwartz admitted during his guest appearance on Winter House, per People. “She’s actually formally sat me down and divorced me, but I’m still kind of not ready to admit it to my friends or to myself even. There’s some real high stakes emotions that I’m sort of bottling up right now and you know, it’s not easy.”

While the two attempted to remain friends and amicable co-parents to their two dogs, drama unsurprisingly bubbled up in Vanderpump Rules Season 10 after Schwartz defied Maloney’s request to avoid hooking up with anyone in their friend group by making out with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss at co-star Scheana Shay‘s wedding.

In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere, Maloney opened up about where she currently stands with her ex-husband.

“After 12 years together, five of which we were married, I’m happy to say that Schwartz is not my problem anymore,” she said in her confessional. “Besides from the dogs, Tom doesn’t get any access to my life.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
