Hollywood’s biggest night is quickly sneaking up on us. On this morning’s episode of Good Morning America, actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid announced the nominees for the 2024 Oscars — and they did not disappoint. Luckily, we have you covered on the latest award contenders this season!
In November, it was announced that Jimmy Kimmel would return to host the annual ceremony for the fourth time after the 2023 Oscars saw a 12% boost in ratings compared to the previous year. According to Nielsen, more than 18 million viewers tuned in to watch Everything Everywhere All At Once sweep up a majority of the awards.
This year promises to be just as exciting, with movie fanatics predicting nominations for Barbie, Oppenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon and Maestro. Stars like Cillian Murphy, Lily Gladstone and Colman Domingo are also expected to be recognized by the Academy for their work over the last year.
The 96th Academy Awards, which will be taped from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, will air Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC.
