If there’s one thing we can count on for a red carpet, it’s noted Hollywood sneakerhead Jason Sudeikis showing up to an award show in a cool pair of kicks, and tonight’s Golden Globes are no exception.
While Sudeikis didn’t hit the red carpet in a hoodie (like the one he wore during the 2021 Globes), instead opting for a brown blazer/purple sweater combo, it’s his bold sneaker choice that caught our eye.
During a red carpet interview with Brendan Hunt and Variety’s Mark Malkin, the sneakers got a moment to shine, thanks to Variety’s red carpet bingo game. Malkin asked the Ted Lasso stars if they had various items on them — a driver’s license, car keys, mints, and, in a nod to last year’s Barbie, something pink.
“These are my Sabrina Ionescu’s,” Sudeikis said, striking a pose as the camera panned down to show off his shoes, which, of course, are a bold pair of sneakers.

The pink and orange Nike basketball sneakers are the Sabrina 1 in the “West Coast Roots” colorway, designed by WNBA all-star Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty. It’s not surprising to see, considering Sudeikis is a fan of the Liberty and has been photographed with members of the team in the past.

The Sabrina 1s, available in six colorways, are “built for crafty players like Sabrina, but made for anyone who’s ready to put in the work to take their game to the next level.”
You can currently shop the Sabrina 1s from Nike and Dick’s Sporting Goods for $130.
