If you’ve ever thought about introducing your little ones to Ridley Scott‘s 1979 sci-fi horror classic Alien, but concluded they may still be a little too young to get the full experience, you’re in luck.

Little Golden Books have long been introducing kids to spelling, reading, and classic stories, and beginning next year, you’ll be able to spice up bedtime stories (and hopefully not cause too many nightmares) with A Is For Alien: An ABC Book.

A Is For Alien will follow Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and the crew of the Nostromo as they go on an educational journey through space. It’ll also introduce kids to items and topics from A to Z to expand their vocabulary and strengthen reading skills.

The book’s summary calls it a “light-hearted reimagining” that “will delight fans young and old.”

A Is For Alien will hit bookshelves on July 9, just before the newest Alien film, Alien: Romulus, hits theaters. However, you can pre-order the book, which is already an Amazon bestseller, now from various online booksellers, and ensure you get it on or around its release date.
