‘Live With Kelly & Mark’: Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Reunite With ‘All My Children’ Actors Who Starred On The Show When They Were Babies

It was an All My Children love fest on this morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark when Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos met up with brothers Aidan and Connor Sharpe, who shared the role of Baby Trevor on the long-running soap opera.

The boys, now young teenagers, appeared on the talk show with their family — otherwise known on TikTok as the Sharpe Family Singers — to perform a song from their new Christmas album, “A Sharpe Family Christmas.” The group, consisting of parents Barbra Sharpe and Ron Sharpe, and kids Samantha Sharpe, Logan Sharpe and twins Aidan and Connor, were semi-finalists on this year’s season of America’s Got Talent.

When the talented family wrapped up their song, Consuelos and Ripa joined them onstage, where the latter pointed out that they go “way back.”

For instance, their love stories have similar origins. Ron and Barbra first met while starring on Broadway’s Les Miserables more than 30 years ago, while the co-hosts met while filming All My Children in the 1990s.

Another tie? When Aidan and Connor were babies, they were cast on All My Children as Trevor — the son of Amanda, played by Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, and Jake, played by Ricky Paull Goldin — from 2009 to 2010.

“That was a long time ago,” one twin said, while the other added, “I was like eight months old.”

When a clip from the show appeared on the screen, one jokingly admitted that they “don’t know which one is which.” However, their mother was quick to note how the director chose which baby they were going to use.

“When they wanted someone to cry, they picked Aidan. When they wanted someone to laugh, they picked Connor,” she said.

While Consuelos and Ripa left their gigs at All My Children in 2001 and 2002, respectively, it is possible that they crossed paths with the Sharpes when they guest-starred on the show in 2010.

But Aidan and Connor weren’t the only siblings who had something in common with the famous couple. The eldest daughter, Samantha, previously competed on Season 19 of American Idol, where she made it to the Hollywood round. The singing competition show is famously hosted by Ryan Seacrest, who co-hosted Live for six years before Consuelos took over in 2023.

“What’s Ryan Seacrest like off the set?” Ripa quipped, to which Samantha replied, “He’s so sweet! He was our favorite!”
