Who’s gonna end up on top? With the narratives growing twistier and twister in Season 5 of Noah Hawley’s popular anthology series Fargo, there are many questions left unanswered.

Now at its halfway point, the new installment began airing on November 21, 2023 on FX and Hulu.

The season takes place in Minnesota and follows Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple) as secrets from her past come to haunt her. Alongside Temple, Season 5 has an all-star cast with Jon HammJoe Keery, and Richa Moorjani in main roles.

Decider’s Sean T. Collins praised the performances in last week’s episode, writing, “… the real strength of this episode is in conversations, like the one in which Dot/Nadine timorously reveals her wounds to the deputy, as Juno Temple makes Dot seem brittle enough to crack and Jeff Russo’s score does its best old-school Carter Burwell.”
