George Santos has traded in his political career as a U.S. State Representative to offer personalized messages at $500 a pop on Cameo, and Jimmy Kimmel is seizing the moment for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The late night host revealed that he pranked the former politician by sending him several “ridiculous” requests for personalized videos on Cameo to see if the alleged liar would fall for it — and he did!

“I will be parsing these out throughout the week,” Kimmel explained. “I didn’t say they were from me, I just wrote them and sent them to find out, will Santos say it?” And thus, a new segment was born.

The first request was for Santos to congratulate someone’s friend “for winning the Clearwater Florida Beef Eating Contest.” The request reads, “He ate almost 6 pounds of loose ground beef in under 30 minutes… He’s not feeling great right now, but the doctor thinks he will be released from the hospital soon. Please wish him a speedy recovery!”

And Santos certainly delivered. In a video that appeared to be recorded inside of a car, Santos congratulated the so-called “Gary Fortuna” for achieving an “all-time new record,” calling the feat “amazing” and “impressive.”

“I know you’re feeling under the weather, but I hear from a great source that the doctors said you’ll be released from the hospital soon and recover well. Have a speedy recovery and enjoy the festivities of the end of the year. Bye!” Santos said.

In another prank video request, Kimmel asked Santos to congratulate someone’s mother for successfully cloning “her beloved schnauzer, Adolf.” The former politician even told her to “give Adolf a big belly rub for me” in the completed video.

Kimmel joked that buying Santos’s services with your credit card could prove to be a “dilemma,” considering the charges for identity theft that he is currently facing: “On one hand, you hate to give money to a guy like George Santos, but on the other, eh, pretty good chance he has your credit card information already,” Kimmel said.

In addition to being ousted from the House and accused of misusing campaign funds, Santos has been indicted on 23 counts of identity theft, wire fraud and credit card fraud, amongst other charges.

Tune in to Kimmel next week to see more Cameo videos from the politician, and scroll up to watch the hilarious segment.
