JoJo Siwa carries the most recent episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test on her back — literally. After Nick Viall struggles to fulfill the staff’s grueling punishment, the former Dance Moms star is forced to carry Tom Sandoval over her shoulders for half a mile back to base.

As the recruits approach the halfway point of their training, the staff decides to amp things up by airlifting them to a mountain range 4,600 feet above sea level, where they must complete a “commando cliff crawl.”

Using a singular rope suspended over a ravine, the celebrities must crawl across, let go halfway through, and pull themselves back up onto the rope in order to pass.

When only Sandoval and Olympic gold-medalist Bode Miller are able to successfully complete the task, the rest of the group faces a taxing punishment, including Viall, who came extremely close to making it across the rope.

“I think Nick’s in a pretty dark place right now,” Jack Osbourne says on the helicopter ride back.

In order to make the group “pay for” their failures, the staff orders them to carry Sandoval and Miller one mile back to camp. While Tyler Cameron painlessly carries Miller the whole way back, Viall struggles to keep Sandoval on his shoulders.

“You can learn a lot about your own failures. Life’s about trying to overcome them,” the Bachelor star says in his confessional. “But what’s it gonna be that keeps me from quitting?”

About halfway through the hike, a groaning Viall — who keeps putting Sandoval down and picking him back up —  passes the Vanderpump Rules star off to Siwa, who effortlessly slings him over her shoulders and carries him the rest of the way.

“Everything I’ve gotten in my life has been because of my work ethic,” she explains. “I want the world to see that side of me — that determination, that drive.”

If a 20-year-old woman best known for her glittery, rainbow aesthetic carrying a 40-year-old grown man isn’t determination, then I don’t know what is.

Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test airs on Monday nights at 9/8c on Fox.
