Universal Pictures has been on a roll with horror movies this Halloween season. Just a couple of short weeks after The Exorcist: Believer came to theaters, the studio is gearing up for another horror treat: Five Nights at Freddy’s. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new flick!
Starring Josh Hutcherson, Five Nights at Freddy’s follows a security guard who accepts a job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. However, he soon learns the terrifying truth behind the abandoned entertainment center: that it’s home to killer animatronics.

You can watch Five Nights at Freddy’s by heading out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Oct. 27. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Plus, it will also be available to stream on Peacock. Read on for more information.
UPDATE 11/21/23: Five Nights at Freddy’s will officially become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
WHEN WILL FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S BE ON STREAMING? WILL FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S BE ON PEACOCK?
Universal Pictures is not making us wait to stream Five Nights at Freddy’s on Peacock. The film is set to release on the streaming platform on Friday, Oct. 27 — the same day it’s coming to theaters.
WILL FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S BE ON MAX?
No, Five Nights at Freddy’s will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.
WILL THE FNAF MOVIE BE ON NETFLIX?
No, Five Nights at Freddy’s will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or stream it on Peacock.
IS THE FNAF MOVIE ON HULU?
Sad to say, Five Nights at Freddy’s will not be streaming on Hulu any time soon. That said, there’s always a chance! For now, though, your best bet is to head over to Peacock.
