Vanna White Finally Scores A ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Pay Raise As Part Of 2-Year Contract Extension

Vanna White may finally be getting that long deserved “P _ Y R _ I S E” she’s been fighting for, which means that she can definitely afford to buy a vowel.

According to Deadline, the longtime Wheel of Fortune co-host has extended her contract for two more years, meaning White will continue her letter turning through the 2025-26 season of the historic game show.

Wheel of Fortune, which began its 41st season — and its final season with host Pat Sajak — last Monday (Sept. 11), has been renewed until Season 45. Ryan Seacrest will succeed Sajak in Season 42, following Sajak’s retirement in 2024.

A notable feature of White’s contract is a “believed” raise in pay, which follows a long, very public battle of hers to receive just that. No details of her new salary have been made public just yet.

In July, White closed a deal to host Celebrity Wheel of Fortune with a sizable salary increase, but had yet to make a decision on the original WoF. Deadline reports that her WoF contract extension includes a pay raise, as well.

Seacrest told Fortune last week that he hoped “for nothing more than to be able to walk out on that stage and host with her.”

Amidst the changes, Season 41 also welcomed new director Alex Van Wagner to the show. Van Wagner replaced Robert Ennis, who had been directed WoF since 2015, and prior to that had served as the show’s technical director since 1982, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Maggie Sajak, Pat Sajak’s daughter, will return for her third year as the show’s social media correspondent, and already began the season with a cheesy Instagram collab with her father. She also initiated a weekly series of “Fan Fridays” last week, which will feature a “fan-tastic prize” of “vacations, gift cards, merch, and more.”
