Shannen Doherty couldn’t hold in her emotion while reuniting with her fellow Beverly Hills, 90210 castmates over the weekend. The actress — who has been bravely battling Stage 4 breast cancer — teared up as the audience gave her a standing ovation.

Doherty was joined by Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris at a 90s Con panel in Tampa, Florida on Sunday (Sept. 17). Toward the end of the discussion, fans showed some love for Doherty.

“Thank you so much. You guys know how much I love crying constantly. And I do, it seems. So, thank you,” she said as she wiped away tears, per People. “I have a fight for my life, that I deal with every day. I think I am really great.”

Doherty jokingly added, “My other profession is getting engaged, married and divorced, and I’m doing that very well,” referring to her recent split from her third husband, whom she was married to for 11 years.

The Charmed star was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. While she went into remission in 2017, the cancer returned as Stage 4 in 2020.

Back in June 2023, Doherty announced that the disease had spread to her brain in a heartbreaking update. In a series of posts, she revealed that she had the tumor surgically removed from her brain and began radiation treatments in January.

“Surgery. I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy,” she captioned a video. “I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified. The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore. This is what cancer can look like.”

Despite her hardships, Doherty has remained in good spirits. In fact, she’s even planning to launch her own podcast this upcoming November, according to People.

“It’s going to be called Let’s Be Clear, and it’s a live interactive memoir,” Doherty shared during the 90s Con panel. “So you get to hear everything that I’ve refused to say before. I’m spilling the tea, but nicely!”
