Nancy Meyers‘ next blockbuster feature, titled Paris Paramount, may have been shelved by Netflix, but there’s still plenty of her filmography to go back to — or even catch up on.

One underrated entry from her decades-long career is the 2015 comedy The Intern, which tells the heartwarming story of 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker, played by Robert De Niro, who takes an internship at an online startup to get back into the workforce after he retires. He forms an unlikely friendship with CEO Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway), who is struggling to juggle motherhood, marriage, and her job at the top of her budding company.

The Intern is more of a family/buddy comedy than romantic comedy, a genre in which Meyers has been a pioneer, but it still features some touching romantic storylines. It’s definitely an unexpected feature from Meyers and its lead stars, but it includes all of the filmmaker’s signature touches: beautiful kitchens, complicated female leads and a heartwarming ending.

The Intern also features a stacked cast of comedians, including Workaholics stars Anders Holm and Adam Devine. Zack Pearlman, Nat Wolff, and Christina Scherer also star.
