Jacob Elordi is trading in the persona of Euphoria‘s manic high school predator Nate Jacobs for collegiate aristocrat Felix Catton in Emerald Fennell‘s Saltburn.

The teaser trailer just dropped for the new mystery drama hitting theaters this fall, which follows Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), an Oxford University student who is invited by Elordi’s Felix to his “eccentric family’s” ginormous estate called Saltburn for “a summer never to be forgotten.”

According to Variety, the film, described as a “beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire,” is slated to open the 67th BFI London Film Festival on Oct. 4, which will be held at London’s Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.

Fennell, who according to IndieWire, recently appeared as Midge in Barbie, said she’s “honored that [Saltburn] is able to open this year’s BFI London Film Festival.”

“It is a festival that inspired me so much growing up, one that I followed excitedly from my bedroom on the other side of London,” she continued. “It feels extra-special that Saltburn, this very British tale of excess, is able to make its international debut at the wonderful BFI.”

In addition to Saltburn, Elordi is taking on the role of Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s A24 biopic Priscilla, which is projected to hit theaters later this year.

Fennell made her directorial debut with the 2020 crime thriller Promising Young Woman, for which she won an Oscar for “Best Original Screenplay.” Saltburn will be her sophomore film, featuring Rosamund Pike, Archie Madekwe, Alison Oliver, and Promising Young Woman star Carey Mulligan.

The film is produced by Fennell, Margot Robbie‘s LuckyChap Entertainment company, and Josey McNamara.

Saltburn will be in theaters on Nov. 24. Watch the trailer above.
