Obi-wan Kenobi might have said that “the Force is what gives a Jedi its power,” but in terms of (inter)stellar ratings, that’s all up to die-hard Star Wars fans.

Star Wars: Ahsoka just landed on Disney+ last week, and the new miniseries has already become the most-watched title worldwide in the previous week on the platform.

The miniseries released two of its eight episodes last Tuesday (Aug. 22), the first of which, entitled “Master and Apprentice,” raked in 14 million views — with a “view” being “defined as total stream time divided by runtime available” — per the official Star Wars website.

The site gave a brief shoutout to fans, captioning the statement, “The Force was strong with the premiere of Ahsoka — thanks to Star Wars fans.”

In a press statement released today, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said, “Ahsoka has become a fan favorite with people of all ages and it’s wonderful to see her continue to resonate with viewers in her very own headlining series.”

She continued, “I want to recognize the fantastic work done by our creative team, led by [executive producers] Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, the incredible cast led by Rosario Dawson, and our talented crew — and on behalf of the team and all of Lucasfilm, we give our thanks to all the fans who have been with Ahsoka on every step of her journey and to all those who are just learning about her now in Ahsoka on Disney+.”

According to Deadline, the ratings for Ahsoka‘s premiere episode match those of fellow Star Wars series Andor‘s first episode, but are 29% lower than The Mandalorian and 50% lower than Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Dawson stars as Ahsoka, alongside Hayden Christensen‘s Anakin Skywalker, Eman Esfandi‘s Ezra Bridger, Natasha Liu Bordizzo‘s Sabine Wren, and more.

Star Wars: Ahsoka releases new episodes on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on Disney+.
