Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino is rumored to be joining the new season of Dancing With The Stars.

Entertainment Tonight reports the actress is expected to compete when Season 32 premieres later this year.

Sorvino has not publicly addressed whether she will be joining the show. ABC also does not comment on casting rumors, though viewers will learn soon enough if the Oscar winner will really be hitting the ballroom this fall.

If the rumors are true, Sorvino will be competing alongside reality television stars Ariana Madix (of Vanderpump Rules fame) and former Bachelorette Charity Lawson.

Decider reached out for comment but a representative for ABC stated they do not comment on casting rumors.

Sorvino is best known for starring in the 1997 comedy Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion opposite comedian Lisa Kudrow. The actress, who has enjoyed a decades-long career in television and film, earned an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the 1995 film Mighty Aphrodite.

She most recently starred in the controversial movie Sound of Freedom, an action thriller about a man who travels to Colombia to rescue children from sex trafficking. The project became a box office hit when it premiered this summer despite its ties to the QAnon movement.

So far, Madix and Lawson are the only contestants who have been confirmed for Season 32. The rest of this season’s contestants will be announced on Good Morning America on Sept. 13.

Former contestants and celebs Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are set to host, while judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough will all be returning for the new season.

A release date for Dancing With The Stars Season 32 has not been confirmed yet, but the series is expected to return later this fall.

This season, DWTS will be ABC’s first live simulcast with Disney+.

It will continue to air at 8 pm ET on Mondays on ABC and simultaneously stream on Disney+. New episodes will also be streaming on Hulu the next day.
