After eight years on CBS, James Corden is officially ending his run hosting The Late Late Show this week.

Thursday, April 27, marks the show’s final broadcast with special guests Will Ferrell and Harry Styles set to appear. The show has been ramping up to Corden’s final farewell in recent weeks, with special appearances from the Kardashians, Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, and more.

This week, Seth Meyers, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Garner, and Lisa Kudrow are scheduled to appear on the show.

Styles’ confirmed presence on the show is only adding more fuel to the rumors that One Direction will be reuniting for the finale. Those rumors, unfortunately, have already been denied (but we can still hope.)

After Zayn Malik left the boyband in 2014, the four-piece group appeared on The Late Late Show to confirm they planned to continue making music together.

Celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi shared the rumor in March, alleging that the boy band was planning on reuniting after their eight-year hiatus to bid farewell to their good friend Corden. But the show’s official Twitter account shut that rumor down last week.

“Nobody loves the boys more than us … but this story just isn’t true,” the show wrote. “What is true is we’ve got an absolutely brilliant 2 hour finale planned to celebrate 8 years of #LateLateShow at 10pm on April 27th.”

Regardless, the series finale will mark the end of an era for the talk show host. Corden told Deadline that this year has been the most “overwhelming” year of his life. “It’s an unnatural feeling to walk away from something you love so much,” he said. “I think it’s really important how things end and go out in the manner that we came in.

“It’s going to be really important to take a breath, take a minute. I can’t comprehend what these eight years has done to me and what’s changed. If I’m sensible, I will try and embrace some silence, it’s been really loud for eight years,” he said.

The Late Late Show finale airs April 27 at 10PM ET on CBS.
