Truff Teamed Up With ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ On A Limited Edition Collab

The Super Mario Bros. Movie just hit theaters, and to celebrate, the teams at Nintendo and Illumination partnered up with the truffle-forward gourmet condiment brand Truff.

Truffles, of course, are mushrooms. Expensive mushrooms, sure, but at the end of the day, it’s still just a mushroom. And as Truff states on its website, it takes mushrooms pretty seriously.

Fans of the Super Mario universe will also know how important mushrooms are to the world, from the mushrooms that power up Mario to the character of Toad and the Mushroom Kingdom — a prominent location in the film.

When the collection was announced, co-founder and co-CEO of Truff, Nick Guillen, said, “We had clearly found another brand [which] celebrates mushrooms as much as we do.” It’s a match made in mushroom heaven!

The collaboration is a collectible pack that includes three of Truff’s best-selling sauces in special edition packaging with colorful geometric caps, and it’s on sale now and available while supplies last.

  Truff’s Super Mario Bros. collectible pack contains three of their fan-favorite truffle hot sauces in new, Mario-inspired packaging.

  Mario appears on the Hotter Hot Sauce, which is a jalapeño-forward blend of red chili peppers, black truffle, organic agave nectar, and red habanero powder.

  Toad is the star of the Original Hot Sauce show; it’s made with a blend of ripe red chili peppers, real black truffle, organic agave nectar, and savory spices.

  Princess Peach is featured on Truff’s White Truffle Hot Sauce, which infuses ripe red chili peppers with white truffle, organic agave nectar, and a sprinkle of organic coriander.
