Hoda Kotb And Al Roker Share A PayDay On ‘Today’ In Hilarious ‘Lady And The Tramp’ Moment

The Today Show hosts weighed in on America’s snacking habits, and dished out their own in a hilarious segment on Wednesday’s (March 29) episode.

From Carson Daly’s Cheez-Its to Hoda Kotb‘s Lays chips, each host had their snack of choice to choose from as they spoke about how America’s eating habits have changed over the years. But Al Roker’s favorite snack, PayDays, had the hosts cracking up.

“Unfortunately that’s a king [sized] bar,” Roker said as they all eyed the plate of huge candy bars. He later added, “I’ve never seen it without the wrapper. It’s really not… it’s not that appealing.”

Fellow co-host Craig Melvin begged him not to taste the candy bar, saying, “Please don’t eat that PayDay. Think about the memes.”

Roker asked Today viewers to take to Twitter and vote on whether or not he should eat the PayDay – which resulted in a resounding “Absolutely!”

“Here, will you help me?” Roker asked Kotb. Appearing hesitant, she laughed and took the other end of the PayDay as Roker said, “Kind of a Lady and the Tramp moment.”

Their moment was brief, however, as Roker and Kotb both took one small bite out of the candy bar before placing it back down and parting ways.

Roker’s good sense of humor had another moment to shine last week when She-Hulk star Jameela Jamil shared a few spicy stories she had about bad dates on The Today Show.

The weatherman and host visibly recoiled after Jamil overshared a bit too much during her interview.
