‘Creed III’ Star Jonathan Majors Arrested For Alleged Assault

Jonathan Majors was arrested in NYC this weekend after his girlfriend accused him of assault and harrasment.

According to TMZ, Majors’ girlfriend claims the pair was involved in an argument while traveling together in a cab. The altercation began after she confronted the actor about another woman on his phone.

Majors allegedly grabbed her hand and slapped her, in addition to putting his hands around her neck. The couple then separated and the girlfriend filed a report at the police station the following morning. The Creed III star has denied these claims.

Majors was booked and charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment. He has since been released. The actor’s lawyers quickly responded to the allegations. “He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up,” one rep told TMZ.

According to the report, the alleged victim had visible injuries from the altercation, including a laceration behind her ear and redness and marks on her face.

Majors has become a big name in acting after starring in such titles as Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He is also set to appear in several Marvel projects in coming years while playing the character Kang the Conqueror.

The character was first introduced in the Disney+ series Loki under the moniker He Who Remains. Majors was first introduced as Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and his next appearance as the character will likely be in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which is set for release on May 2, 2025.

Majors has not yet released a statement on the arrest.
