With the final episode of Your Honor Season 2 having aired on Sunday night (March 19), you may be wondering when — or if — the hit Showtime series will return. Luckily, we have you covered on all things Season 3!

The series stars Bryan Cranston as Michael Desiato, a respected New Orleans judge who chooses to protect his teenage son after he accidentally kills another teenager — who happens to be the son of a mob boss — in a hit-and-run collision.

The second season picks up with Michael getting out of prison early following the death of his son, where he works toward putting an end to the New Orleans mob that has proven itself to be detrimental to the community.

So will there be a Season 3 of Your Honor?

Here’s everything we know about the future of the series:

Will there be a Season 3 of Your Honor?

Unfortunately, Your Honor will not return with a third season. Cranston confirmed the news months back while speaking on Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert podcast.

“I am [currently] preparing for the second and last season of Your Honor, which is a limited series that I did for Showtime,” Cranston said, per TV Line. “As they tell me, it got higher ratings than any other series they’ve ever had — and so, one more season of that.”

While the news may be disappointing for fans of the series, Showtime was able to squeeze out more than they had intended, seeing as the show was initially supposed to be a standalone limited series. Due to the positive reception and the first season’s cliffhanger, they were able to bring it back for another 10 episodes, allowing it to end on a more final note.

Your Honor Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Showtime.
