Kelly Clarkson had the sweetest reaction to Billy Porter performing a gospel rendition of her song “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” on Jimmy Fallon‘s new game show That’s My Jam.

In the second episode of the musical series based on Fallon’s Tonight Show segment, Porter — who is just one Oscar away from achieving EGOT status — competed against Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and Glee star Darren Criss.

In the friendly competition show, celebrities spin a wheel that gives them a specific genre and a song to sing. When Porter was instructed to sing the American Idol winner’s 2011 hit song as a gospel number, he told the audience, “Gospel is my wheelhouse! Y’all ready to go to church?”

Meanwhile, Hyland and Criss yelled out, “That’s not fair,” but of course began bowing to him during the soulful performance. Even musical icon Patti LaBelle jumped in to sing backup vocals on his final note!

Following the episode, Clarkson took to her daytime talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show to give a “quick shoutout” to Porter for his “incredible” cover of the song.

“That is the greatest cover that I have ever heard of any song I’ve ever performed,” Clarkson told her audience. “First of all, you suck, Billy Porter. Because now I never want to sing it like I sing it again. I want to do the church version!”

The “Breakaway” songstress even extended an invitation to the actor to join her in performing a duet on her show.

“Alright Billy Porter, there’s a personal invite from me anytime you wanna sing that song like that with me. I’m gonna need that duet!” Clarkson said. “Or I’ll sit on the side of the stage and let you have it. It’s incredible.”

That’s My Jam airs on Tuesday nights at 10/9c, while The Kelly Clarkson Show airs on weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
