Three guys walk into a bar… just kidding. Fox’s latest Animation Domination teaser features something even better than the popular joke set-up. In an upcoming episode of Family Guy, Peter Griffin has a run-in with Homer Simpson from The Simpsons while in the Bob’s Burgers universe.

Per Entertainment Weekly, this Sunday’s (March 12) episode of Family Guy will feature a crossover gag with the famed cartoon characters.

In a teaser video, Peter is seen walking away from conversation with his wife, Lois Griffin, and eventually finds himself in Bob Belcher’s burger restaurant.

Peter jokes, “Oh, I backed up all the way into the show before us,” to which the Bob’s Burgers lead says, “Homer, you got company,” as the camera pans to show the Simpson patriarch.

While Homer quietly munches on his burger, Peter asks Bob, “Why do you have two prices on the menu?”

The restaurateur delivers a taunt, answering, “That’s the Emmy winner discount.” In response, Peter humbly orders a black coffee and toast.

This comment confused some who argued that Family Guy has won multiple Emmy Awards – which, yes, they have – although, it is notable that the other two shows have won recognition for Outstanding Animated Program, whereas Family Guy has only received nominations in the same category, but no wins.

Even though the animation trio has met before, in a 2014 episode of Family Guy called “The Simpsons Guy,” fans lit up with excitement after the latest sneak peek and shared their predictions on social media. Many noted that they would love to see the crossover gag develop into another full episode.

Despite demand, co-showrunner Rich Appel told EW, “We don’t have any more crossover appearances planned.” He joked, “But we reserve the right to change our minds if a new Fox animated show premieres and is a huge hit and we feel that shoehorning one of its characters.”

However, Appel assured fans that “even folks as jaded as Hollywood sitcom writers” get excited about the crossover opportunities involving these legacy characters — so, it seems that there is a good chance it’ll happen again.

Family Guy airs Sundays at 9:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
