What Time Will ‘The Pale Blue Eye’ Be on Netflix? How to Watch the Christian Bale Movie

If you’re craving another murder mystery after watching Glass Onion over the holidays, Netflix has got you covered with The Pale Blue Eye, a new detective movie coming to the streaming service this weekend.

Based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Louis Bayard, The Pale Blue Eye is a historical fiction tale about a seasoned 19th-century detective named Augustus Landor (played by Christian Bale) who teams up with a young and eager Edgar Allen Poe (played by Harry Melling) to investigate a series of murders at the United States Military Academy. Melling may have the southern accent, but he’s no Benoit Blanc. Unlike Glass Onion, which revels in fun, The Pale Blue Eye is dark, gritty, and often disturbing. You may not want to watch this one if you’re squeamish about dead bodies. (Or, at least, fake dead bodies being cut open and spilling fake guts.)

But if you think you can handle it, then you might have fun with this period murder mystery, which was adapted for the screen and directed by Scott Cooper. Read on to find out how to watch The Pale Blue Eye, including The Pale Blue Eye Netflix release date and The Pale Blue Eye Netflix release time.
