Christian Bale rarely gives a bad performance, and with a fascinating premise, this one sounds like it will be worth a watch.

You don’t want to miss this one.

Why We’re Hyped: Teen Wolf is going to be a movie… again! The late 2000s MTV show, which was based on the 1985 Michael J. Fox film, is bringing back the cast of this supernatural teen sensation in a new movie written by Jeff Davis. Well, most of the cast. Fan-favorite Dylan O’Brien will not be reprising his role as Stiles, breaking the hearts of Sterek shippers everywhere. Look, I never finished this show, but I admit, even I’m curious about this one.

The trailer was roasted on Twitter last month, but we can’t help but be curious about the team-up of Barris and Hill. Plus, it’s always nice to see Eddie Murphy back in action. That man can make even the most un-funny comedies enjoyable, so we’ll give this a chance.

Who doesn’t love those? After the success of The Lost City, I’m more than ready for this one. Plus, JLo and Josh Duhamel? That’s inspired.

Why We’re Hyped: Pamela Anderson is telling her side of the story in this documentary about her, directed by her. While self-directed celebrity documentaries tend to be inevitably biased, if anyone deserves to tell her own story, it’s Anderson. This film promises to include Anderson’s reaction to Hulu’s controversial Pam & Tommy series, which depicted Anderson’s infamous sex tape with Tommy Lee. If we’re going to watch dramatizations of real-life people’s scandals, we should at least let them speak their piece.

And considering the sequel was filmed in Hawaii and Paris, it’s no surprise that Adam Sandler said yes to making another. I’m very happy for Sandler and his Hawaii/Paris vacations.

Why We’re Hyped: We certainly hope to see Martin Scorsese’s next film in 2023. Killers of the Flower Moon was supposed to hit Apple TV+ this year but was bumped to 2023 over the summer. You know Scorsese and his editing process! Based on a 2017 nonfiction book by David Grann, it tells the true story of an FBI investigation into the mysterious killings of members of the American Indian Osage tribe in the 1920s. It’s the sixth collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio, and the tenth between Scorsese and De Niro—but we’re most excited to see actor Lily Gladstone (First Cow, Walking Out) in a major role.

Still one of the most successful stop-motion films of all time, Chicken Run is back, baby. Luckily, Mel Gibson is not, and will instead be replaced by Zachary Levi as the new voice Rocky. Thandiwe Newton is the new voice of Ginger, and Bella Ramsey will voice Rocky and Ginger’s new hatchling, Molly. It’s a whole chicken family.

In Havoc, written and directed by Gareth Evans, Hardy will star as a detective tasked with unraveling his city’s world of underground crime, in order to rescue a politician’s estranged son. In other words, Tom Hardy is going to rough up a lot of bad guys. Can’t wait!

Newcomer Alexander Molony will make his feature film debut as the boy who never grows up in this retelling of the classic children’s story. It’s sure to be a nostalgia fest for millennials.

But perhaps most exciting is the fact that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will be doing the soundtrack, continuing one of the greatest composer/director partnerships of modern cinema history.

But hey, we know some of you are into that. And you better believe Snyder already has the sequel, Rebel Moon Part 2, on deck—it was shot back-to-back with the first film earlier this year.
