If watching the trailer for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery inspired you to plan your next European getaway, here’s everything we know about where they filmed the movie:

Where was Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery filmed?

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery was filmed at the Amanzoe, a luxury hotel near Porto Heli, Greece. According to production designer Rich Heinrichs, “It wasn’t an island. It was in the middle of the Peloponnesian peninsula, which would require us to depend on visual effects to make it look like one,” per Condé Nast Traveler.

Speaking of why the hotel was chosen, he added, “It had this modernist kind of take on classical Greek architecture. And that felt right for Miles. He’s an inquisitive fellow, and he doesn’t necessarily have his own aesthetic, but knows he can pay a lot of money for someone who does.”

Aside from the scenes shot in Greece, Heinrichs also pointed out that the interiors of the atrium were “constructed on a stage in Serbia.”
