Armie Hammer’s Exes Share Their Traumatic Texts In ‘House of Hammer’ Trailer

Armie Hammer‘s alleged victims are coming forward with specific accusations about their relationships with the actor in the trailer for discovery+‘s new docuseries, House of Hammer. The first look at the show features interviews with two of Hammer’s exes — Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison — both of whom share disturbing allegations about Hammer, whose rumored cannibalism sparked a sexual assault allegation that led to a very public downfall last year.

The House of Hammer trailer opens with Morrison’s account of her time dating Hammer, including a screenshot of an alleged text message from Hammer reading, “I have a fantasy about having someone prove their love and devotion and tying them up in a public place at night and making their body free use.”

Vucekovich says that at the start of her relationship with Hammer, she felt like everything was “perfect,” but soon “things changed.”

The trailer hints at the shift, showing alleged messages from Hammer reading, “I am 100% a cannibal,” and “I want to eat you.”

Hammer’s exes aren’t the only ones making allegations against the actor in House of Hammer; his own aunt also stepped forward to share her experiences and act as a consultant on the series. Casey Hammer says in today’s trailer, “this behavior, it’s deep-rooted. On the outside, we were a perfect family. But magnify Succession a million times and it was my family.”

House of Hammer explores multiple generations of the Hammer family, beginning with allegations against Armie made by multiple women in 2020. The series “brings to light the dark secrets – ranging from accusations of violence and abuse to political manipulation and financial fraud –  hidden within one of America’s most prominent families,” according to a press release sent out by discovery+ Wednesday.

A lawyer for Armie previously denied claims from women accusing the actor of sexual assault and abuse. After Vanity Fair published an expose about Armie and his family in March 2021, his lawyer Andrew Brettler said in a statement, “All interactions between Mr. Hammer and his former partners were consensual. They were fully discussed, agreed upon in advance with his partners and mutually participatory. The stories perpetuated on social media were designed to be salacious in an effort to harm Mr. Hammer, but that does not make them true.”

House of Hammer is made up of three episodes, all of which will premiere on discovery+ Sept 2. Watch the full trailer for House of Hammer in the video above.
