Justin Timberlake Apologizes After Getting Clowned On Twitter For His Corny Dancing And Khakis

Getting roasted on Twitter by a bunch of Zoomers was probably not on Justin Timberlake’s 2022 vision board, but after his awkward dancing went viral over the weekend, that’s exactly what went down. On Saturday, the former lead singer of NSYNC found himself getting clowned on Twitter after he hit the “beat your feet” dance at Pharrell Williams Something In The Water Festival in DC. The infamous moves originated in the Chocolate City and should have been left to the natives to hit only.

Timberlake knows how to take a joke, though, as he issued a tongue-in-cheek apology video on his Instagram story dedicated to his twentysomething fans.

“D.C. I want to apologize to you for two reasons — Here and Here,” Timberlake says as he  points the camera towards his right and left foot. “I had a long talk with both of them individually and said ‘don’t you ever do that to me again.’ Um, maybe it was the khakis?”

While the audience clowned his out of control dance moves, they also mentioned that he was dancing like a father, which isn’t such a low blow since he does have two children already, but when you were the teen heartthrob of the 2000s that can bruise your ego. Just a tad bit.

The “Sexy Back” singer continues, “I’m going to make this up to you — I’m going to focus on these two guys right here, and get ’em right. Love y’all.”

It was a tough crowd the night of Timberlake’s performance, but luckily he still had some die-hard fans in the building.. well on, Twitter, because they were still showing him respect and love despite what they thought of his funky dance moves.

Safe to say that we should expect to see Justin Timberlake at the next Something In The Water concert for now on… just for the laughs.
